Tender Scope

UNRWA intends to establish a purchase order for the supply of furniture. The required items include different types of office desks, office tables, coffee tables, cupboards, sofas, trainer tables, and student tables.

Submission Method

Bids must be submitted through the UNRWA e-tendering system (In-Tend), accessible through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM). Bids that do not comply with the submission requirements will not be considered.

Eligibility and Required Documents

Both international and local suppliers are eligible to participate. Bidders must upload the required eligibility documents on the In-Tend platform before the closing date. Offers without eligibility documents will be rejected. Required documents include a valid commercial or company registration certificate, official bank details, signed and stamped UNRWA General Conditions of Contract, and evidence of similar previous work.

Evaluation and Delivery

Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest cost, technically and commercially acceptable offer. Technical offers and samples will be checked against the specifications in the tender documents. The delivery period must not exceed 60 days from the date of contract award, and bidders must provide a detailed delivery schedule.

Financial and Contract Conditions

Prices may be quoted in USD or SYP and must be exclusive of VAT and other applicable indirect taxes. Offers must remain valid for at least 90 days from the tender closing date. The awarded bidder must provide a 5% performance guarantee, advance payment is not allowed, and liquidated damages of 0.3% per day of delay may apply, up to a maximum of 10%.
